WTC is similar regarding aluminium wheels melting but for me it's the power issue, how can the amount energy required be supplied by a discrete platform in orbit or military aircraft

So it appears you have a leaning toward DEW based on circumstances. From the casual observer its existence cannot be backed up but a brief search yielded the Boeing NKC135A airborne laser in the 80's and then the $5KKK (yes 3xK) funded Boeing YAL-1 project. Reported poor results lead the then Sec of Defence to say in 2007 (as did the Airforce) the project was not viable and not practical in cost (after $5KKK and 15years?) and that both 747's were scrapped. (M'thinks she doth protest too much) and the reports I've seen (including WikiCIA) tend to reiterate the project planes were dismantled in a little too much detail. More up to date, It is strange perhaps that DARPA openly continued with the airborne laser as a weapon from 2014 straight after the project cancellation". Perhaps just perhaps it has been refined within the projects from the eighties onwards as higher energy, lower power hungry system have been developed but fronted by a facade of slow development,, cancellations and lots of DARPA laser projects i.e. hidden in plain view? I am fairly convinced now that my concerns as to viability due to issues of power (density) and sufficient laser energy is not one to sink the hypothesis and that they have the tested aerial platform. Any military contacts?

In response to you post there is a frightening alternative which takes a yet further stretch of one's sanity but I have been following such ideas since the work of Dr Judy Wood. Although no expert, I found it approached in a true scientific manner although the final conclusions were of course extrapolated. Perhaps even more telling tor me, was the vilification metered out by the "truth movement" factions. These groups appear to be dedicated to provide an everlasting distraction of competing ideas all the while "debunking" each other's position while providing no real evidence and even after all this time, business is good.
