PART II The mass conversion of Jews to Christianity began in Italy’s 13th century and continued well into the 17th century. While the Spanish Inquisitions have been cited as one of the main antagonists, the misnomer is that it was a Jewish holocaust, in fact the inquisitions targeted Muslims, Christian faiths that were not Catholic including Protestant, Lutheran, etc.., and Jews. ANY religion that was NOT Catholic was considered heretic and targeted by the Church.
