Happy Thanksgiving, Helena and all who venture here … here is a piece I came across sometime back …
The title is in Russian … it supposedly translates into 'What you hear when entering heaven'. It is based on a work by the Russian poet, Pushkin, Garland, No. 7: Reveille
" I hear the distant sound of the morning bugle. It's dawn.
The old book of Dante is slipping from my hands.
The verse has frozen on my lips, unread. My soul soars high...
So alive and familiar, this sound takes me back in time."
It hs performed by Alexey Mikhailov and the Glinka choir …
Obrigado Helena a paz prevaleça entre nós humanos
