I have 3 millennial sons - white. Most of their friends I have known since junior high and without exception they are each perfect in their imperfections. But the overwhelming emotion is "WHY". They don't understand why people aren't good. They just want to make a LIFE. Be proud. Get Married. Have Kids - and take boat rides...

Yes, it was the Bolsheviks and the same deterioration was happening here slowly. One thing changing, then another, but never enough at one time until it all added up to were the public has no voice in anything. Tolerate everything and anything. Look at those who have the control. The financial control, the heads of all entertainment, the high academia, the CEO’s of Corporations, Big Lobbyists. Which could you have changed?

Me? I am just a speck of sand - but when all the sand unites it pushes the sea back to its froth

Well said, Helena! What you wrote is so tragic to read and yet so true! I have children now attempting to raise families of their own in this mess. And yes, all of us who are baby boomers have a lot of explaining to do. Perhaps, many of these young people caught in this ever-increasing

nihilistic/narcissistic society will see through all these faulty paradigms they have been told to accept and will find the strength and courage to break through these lies and false hopes to a much more hopeful way of living and relating to one another.

Its the money not the generation. Population doubles and the money supply goes 10 X. Its that simple. Without the money printer houses would not be $500,000.

The mortgage scam and banking speculation had a lot to do with it!

Hussein - among other things - gave out interest free loans to his citizens. He gave incentives to mothers who birthed. And decried that all citizens would have a house before he gave his parents one. Very interesting man who upended the Jewish Cabal in EVERY aspect.

So your interpretation of taking responsibility is to defer responsibility. That’s logical

Sir. Responsibility is a core ethic of humanity! Without it you are Soros. You have no laws and you worship evil. It really is that black and white!

If you think guilt’ which manifests via ‘taking responsibility’ is self indulgent- you ARE the problem. Because not taking responsibility is narcissism

Actually i was born in 1954 and I don’t feel in anyway responsible for the moral and otherwise decrepitude of our western culture. I never bought into any of the bullshit and personally had no part in it. From my perspective it only became really dystopian from about the late 70’s , early 80’s and since then the pace of degeneration has been quite unprecedented in history as far as I can determine, and it continues to accelerate.

My kids were born in the 80’s , i brought them up to believe nothing espoused by governments, to distrust organisations , to be independent, to be fair and decent and to judge people by your own standards. More than that a parent cannot do. I was only modestly successful in this , due to my own limitations and the fact that I was swimming against the toxic tidal wave , which is what western culture has become

If you think you as an individual can influence, let alone reverse a civilisational collapse , you are simply delusional and feeling guilty is just self indulgence.

Guilt is taking responsibility. Self Indulgence is refusing to take responsibility - or Narcissism. I take responsibility. You don’t. Which is the dystopia you and your children now live.

As i said i did my best, but i recognise my limitations, you clearly don’t think you have any. It’s delusional arrogance, but i guess It goes with your territory as “a female writer on substack” or some such.

Or maybe the “shrink culture” in the USA. “Guilt is taking responsibility” sounds like something a shrink would spout. Disappointing really
